We are hosting a 36hrs (two days-one night) Web- Mobile- Digital Media DAPP Hack-a-thon at IIT-Delhi/Guwahati designed for Blockchain (Web3)/ AI/ ML, SaaS entrepreneurs and Legal domain professionals focused in Defence, DeepTech, and Women-led enterprises.

Digital India Hack-a-thon is about coding together to solve real-world problems. Students, Developers, Entrepreneurs, Designers, and Idea generators will come together to build amazing applications, in an effort to create a better world.

Integrated throughout the day will be examples of disruptive ideas Pan India, many of which ’Silicon Valley comes to India' hasn't witnessed yet, as well as tips on taking the fear out of making the leap to entrepreneurship. Some leading mentors, technology experts/ trainers and advisers will be on hand throughout the span of the event to answer your questions on challenges you're facing. The areas we will cover: your business model, revenue model, social media and digital marketing strategy, selling to who and how, etc and there will be plenty of networking with other start-ups.

Pre-Hack-a-thon workshop will provide relevant support to develop business ideas and skills. On the 1st day, the participants will receive guidance on the concept of the Ideation Model, MVP (minimum viable product) and Technical Guidance. The Hack-a-thon will be conducted on day 2 and 3.

HACK-A-THON MENTORSHIP AND COHORT STAGES

The mentorship program is designed to support participants throughout the Hack-a-thon, providing guidance and expertise at each stage of development. Participants will progress through five key stages, each structured to foster collaboration and innovation.

Hack-a-thon Stage

IDEATION STAGE

Duration: 36 Hours + 12 hours Industry Design Sprint

Objective: Brainstorm and develop innovative ideas.

Mentorship Focus: Brainstorming Sessions: Mentors will facilitate group discussions to inspire creativity and refine ideas.

Feedback Loops: Participants will receive constructive feedback on their concepts from mentors and peers.

Expected Outcomes: Clear, innovative ideas aligned with the problem statements.

OUR PREVIOUS HACK-A-THON

In the event's introduction, Mr. Pravash Dey shared his experiences on the importance of Hack-a-thon culture in academia and industry, discussing real-world problem-solving, new business challenges, and the significance of networking. Mr. Kunal Varma followed with insights on wireframing tools and financial guidance. Participants formed 13 teams through a speed-dating session and began working on their ideas.

Guest speaker provided valuable insights into digital entrepreneurship and industry collaboration. The Hack-a-thon then kicked off with intensive ideation, business model discussions, and pitching to mentors. A night coding session (10 PM to 11 AM) saw participants building their prototypes.

The next day featured sessions by industry mentors on topics like ethical hacking, startup marketing, legal structures, and pitch creation, culminating in final pitches to the jury. The event concluded with keynotes by Dr. Akshai Aggarwal and Mr. Hiranmay Mahanta, followed by the participants' final presentations.
